Grant Morrison... what more needs to be said? The man quite simply writes the best comics around. If you've only read
JLA (which is great), do yourself a favor and read Animal Man, Doom Patrol and best of all The Invisibles.

Adrian Tomine is the creator of Optic Nerve which always makes me want to cry... in a good way! He writes some of the
most realistic and complex real people in comics, or any medium for that matter.
Craig McKracken is best known for No Neck Joe. Well, not really, everyone knows him for The Powerpuff Girls, but I'll
always love No Neck Joe. Craig is a cool guy and even had Frank Black do a song for him on the PPG Heroes and Villains CD!
